Take a moment today to be thankful for the freedom we enjoy at the expense of those who died for it.

I served in the army for 3 years, and my two brothers and father did as well. My grandfather on my dad's side fought in WW1 and struggled for years after with lung issues from being gassed. I am very grateful for the country we live in and the people who paid with their health and lives to make it as free and full of opportunity as it is. America is far from perfect, and we have issues to deal with of course, but that doesn't change what our attitudes towards those who protect us should be.
