You all probably don't know this, but at the ripe age of 59 and 3 years away from retirement from my job at NC STate as a UC Network Engineer, I've decided to go back to college (at Liberty University) in their online master's program to be a mental health counselor. I figure that I am going to work another 10 - 15 years after retirement and its on my heart to help people struggling with mental health issues. After my first semester, I have 3 A's and it was not easy staying up to 8-9 just about every night reading chapters, taking tests, and writing papers.

Anyways, this is Mental Health Awareness month, and I wanted to share my NC State Wolfpack QB's thoughts on Mental Health Awareness. It's a message of hope as we all struggle with stress, etc every day of our lives.

Way to go Dave. I hope it goes well for you. I understand the commitment you have made and I am confident you can do it.

Thanks, Mark. It's super burnout at times, but the subject matter is so interesting. Keep me in your prayers, friend.

Dave
