Thoughts? PFF actually predicts the rosters of all teams if you follow the link (and have a paid membership).

My thoughts are that it is WAAAYYY too early for this to have any legitimacy, but it looks reasonable at this point in time. There will be surprises somewhere.

The only name that does not fit is Justin Coleman. Otherwise seems reasonable.

But like Ken said, what is the point? Injuries, transactions and surprise performances will happen throughout the summer to alter this.

How often does a good team expect to start three rookies?

I am sure it is rare. It means we aren't a good team or that we got some excellent players.

Right. There are two players I just don't hear much about, and they are Noah Igbinoghene and Albert Wilson. You like to see your first round draft picks starting by their second year, so it is a shame that we don't really know what we have yet in Igbonoghene. He was thrown into the fire early last year, which is a good thing, but then he rode the bench and we don't know if he learned enough to make a big leap this year. Jones and Howard are expensive, but I don't think we will try to move on from them until Iggy shows he is ready.

Wilson could have a short-term role in the slot if he is completely healthy, but it is only a matter of time until he is replaced by Bowden (or other second-years) and Waddle.

At virtually every position except QB, K and P, the competition is going to be crazy this year. It's a far cry from when we were scooping up everybody's cuts to field a roster by week 1 like 2 years ago. It's really pretty amazing how fast the rebuild has gone. Not that I'm predicting a superbowl this year (I'm not); but we have depth at almost every position. And you know Grier; he's not done tinkering.
