Just as we thought. Based on this, unless the Dolphins are far behind in a game such as the Bills final game, I don't think we'll see Tua benched. You have to let a young QB play though it sometimes no matter how much it hurts.

At that point [second half in Game 15, at Las Vegas, when Ryan Fitzpatrick entered in relief], it’s hey, we’ve got to do whatever we’ve got to do to try to win. But no, my confidence wasn’t shaken in him.”

If the Watson scandal had not happened he would be a Dolphin.

Have no fear, the Fat Lady isn't even warming up yet. There's a lot of talk of Philly having the most assets but remember, Watson has a no-trade clause where he can pick and choose where he goes and Houston's interests at that point will be to move him and won't be able to sit and wait for a better offer.

This from PFT...

Quote:
The longer the silence lingers, the greater the possibility that that cases will eventually be resolved, allowing the Texans to trade Watson to a new team before the start of training camp.

Quote:
If they’re resolved before the start of training camp, Watson will become available — and the Dolphins and Eagles likely will be the two teams at the front of the line, in our view.

I’ll call it now. Watson, regardless of the outcomes from his many accusers, will not be a Dolphin.

I don't think so either, but it is up to Tua. One thing I will say it will be a good story though: black GM, black HC, and black QB.

If Flores confidence wasn't "shaken" why pull Tua then?

Probably the difference between short-term confidence that he could lead them to a win versus long-term confidence that he can be a franchise QB.

White people are clearly over represented in the NFL.

:haha
