Miami got down to the 53 man roster as OT Lyndon Murtha, WR Clyde Gates, LB Gary Guyton, RB Steve Slayton and DE Jamaal Westernan among the group of players that were released. There is also plenty of buzz that QB Matt Moore will soon be traded.

The Dolphins claimed WR Anthony Armstrong from Washington, S Troy Nolan from Houston and CB R.J Stanford from Carolina.  Also, the Dolphins are now in talks with Green Bay to acquire WR James Jones, a player to Joe Philbin has a great deal of knowledge on.

WR Jeff Fuller, OLB Josh Kaddu and WR Chris Hogan are among a group of players that will likely be added to the practice squad.
