Get ready for what will be a nationally televised drought in 2008 for the Miami fans. This game is the nationally televised game for the week mainly because it's Brett Favre vs Ricky Williams, not because they have 27 losses last year together. How many times have I had to endure watching the Jets the past two weeks over and over on the NFL Network? It isn't because of all of those other free agent old timers that they signed. And I will be honest about that: all of that old talent may not get them into the playoffs. If not for Brett Favre I would have guessed they'd be 8-8 this year at best. This game has a lot of allure to it. Many people want to see how Brett Favre will fare in another puke green uniform. He is surrounded by good talent at the wide receiver positions and RB Anthony Thomas is a good back that da Bears should have found a way to keep. And everyone wants Ricky Williams to succeed. There has been a lot of hype lately in the Florida papes about the new Ricky who looks like the old Ricky of '02. Bill Parcells is retooling the Dolphins the right way on youth while Man-gina is trying to buy a playoff appearance. It will be the battle of the old verses youth on Sunday and everyone should get a chance to see it. So, hold off another week if you did not upgrade your NFL Ticket to HD.
