New low for the Dallas Cowboys
What the hell are the Cowboys thinking letting paroled Jost Brent prance along the sidelines like everything is ok. After all the efforts we do to stop drunk driving this is a real good message we are sending.

Re: New low for the Dallas Cowboys
Nothing wrong with letting him be there. Its not like he hit a mini van & killed a family. He killed a teammate who knew he was drunk when he got in the car.

Re: New low for the Dallas Cowboys
Fairly certain that it is the league who punishes on this. If the team did, he could complain to the union about being double punished. So until the league makes a ruling, the team is handcuffed

Crimes can be paid for and forgiven, but there has to be a sense of responsibility and repercussion. To the fans watching the game it looked like a situation that wasn't a big deal.

The Cowboys and officials in the NFL's offices were unaware that Brent -- who is on the reserve/non-football injury list after being charged with intoxication manslaughter two weeks ago in the car crash that killed teammate Jerry Brown -- would be on the sideline Sunday during the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Dallas. Both the team and the league agree that it was not appropriate, sources said.
