 It Happens....
Even 2 time Super Bowl winner Eli Manning overthrows "wide open" receivers! Give Tannehill a break it happens to the best.

Seriously the most naive line of argumentation ever.
Eli Manning has earned the right to not be questioned about missing a deep ball. He's won two Super Bowls chief.
What has Tanny done to earn that kind of faith yet? Answer: Nothing.

He's sitting there excusing important plays being missed in the Pats game because QB's like Manning/Brady have missed passes. It's an empty comparison.

What has Tanny done to earn that kind of faith yet? Answer: Nothing. That's kind of a loaded argument. We've seen Tannehill hit those throws. So he's supposed to make EVERY throw until he wins a Super Bowl, then he's allowed to miss some?

 Re: It Happens....
Everybody misses every once in a while, even the best. Every guy has a bad day here and again, doesn't matter who you are. But what seperates the best from the rest is how infrequent those bad days are. Tannehill has the potential to be great, he just needs to develop, get more consistent, and make those bad days more infrequent.

Those Giants teams won on the strength of their defense. Eli played the Phil Simms role. The guy still goes a month long of playing bad football at times. I know, my entire family are Giants fans and they bitch about him all the time. He may have 2 rings but he's no Peyton.
