 Reggie's last year in Miami?
Quote: A week after Reggie Bush was benched for fumbling, Brian Hartline was exonerated for the same crime in Thursday night's game at Buffalo. Hartline returned to the game on the next possession, suggesting the players are being held to different standards. "[Coach Joe Philbin] sent Reggie Bush a message: 'You will not be here next year,'" opined NFL Network's Deion Sanders. Bush is an unrestricted free agent in 2013. We can't imagine him returning to Miami with the contracts of so many other key players also up at the end of the season. -Miami Herald, through Rotoworld

I'm not excited for Miller or Thomas.
Keeping my fingers crossed someone legit falls into our laps via the draft, it's pretty obvious Reggie isn't coming back.

Re: Reggie's last year in Miami?
we need 2 guards, probably 1 tackle, 2 wide receivers, a legit tight end, 2 corners and a pass rusher and then we should be right as rain! LOL

I hope you know I was joking. It just seemd so appropriate to throw that out there. BTW..when Hartline returned what message do you think that sent Bush?

Re: Reggie's last year in Miami?
I think the circumstances were different with Hartline he hasnt fumbled recently which is why he continued to pay. Where as Bush had fumbled recently and the one last week was when the hammer was dropped. If Hartline were to fumble again next week and stay in the game than I would think there was a double standard.

Re: Reggie's last year in Miami?
You can see the frustration on the face of Bush. I think he knows that he won't be around next season. I'm fine with that, his performance this season has been inconsistent and lately very poor. We need bigger backs that can run between the tackles and pick up short yardage, that is what has been killing this offense lately. The ability to run between the tackles and grind out short yardage (ie 3rd and 1). I'd love to see us pursue a Doug Martin type back in next years draft.
Is it all Reggie's fault, no. I think the lack of push up front from our offensive line has been very apparent the past month or so. Bottom line, I think we need a total overhaul of the offense. We can keep a few key pieces (Tannehill, Pouncey, Martin, Hartline, Bess, etc.), but the rest can be replaced. They either don't fit the system, or can't adapt.

We need a bigger back and Doug Martin used in the same post...wow. You do know his nickname is muscle hampster...right? Look, I hate these type posts because they're always stated like this is some glaring weakness. Thomas is a good back. Bush is a good back. If I were to put needs out there...RB wouldn't even make the top 10.
