That's not the problem. The problem is throwing to him deep...he's a slot guy. That one play deep..the guy was 12 yards off and 4 yards off when Bess tried his double move...what happened to throwing a quick pass for 6yds or WR screen?
They were better in the 2nd half than the first...they weren't really good at any point. Safety played his butt off.

Why have we gone away from the fast tempo no huddle that kept opponents back on their heels? We are a plodding, predictable offense right now. Don't even get me started on the D.

Bingo! Bess is a side to side, curl up in the zone get open for a first down type of receiver. Even annoying Mike Mayock pointed out that Bess runs between 4.6-4.7 straight away speed. THAT is not going to scare anyone deep. He was covered down field like a blanket.

Why Miami doesn't copy what Brady or Bradford does with Welker and Amendola is beyond me. Funny how those guys can catch 10 passes a game and all cut from the same mold.
