 Hope
"Remember, Red. Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. . ." The Shawshank Redemption.
I'll make this quick.
Dolphins 10-6 and playoffs.
Done.

 Re: Hope
Im struggling right now to see us winning 8 more games, it would mean we have to beat the Pats once in Dec, thats not easy.

 Re: Hope
Hope Floats. Personally, I am sick of "hoping" that the Dolphins win games. I am looking forward to the days where this team plays like a dominant team again and is back in the playoffs year in and year out. I think we are starting to turn the corner as a team, but realistically they are just a few position players away from really becoming a great team.

 Re: Hope
Hey...here's the deal...this team has weathered a complete change in schemes on both sides of the ball. They're out of the gate 2-3...that's better than I thought. The weakest part of their schedule is after the break. If they win against st. Louis, there's no reason 10-6 isn't a possibility with the usual idsclaimers about injury etc.

I think the team can compete with just about anyone due to their defense being solid upfront. Right now I see something similar to recent years in that they don't appear able to win a shootout or stage a large comeback. Part of that comes from a rookie QB and the other is just a lack of big play WRs. They are solid, and Hartline will make some plays going forward, but I'm not sure they have the collective talent to put up 4 TDs through the air or stage a 10+ point comeback in the 4th quarter. For that reason I see more of a 7-9 or 8-8 season. However, I've been very wrong before.

 Re: Hope
8-8...it'll come down to beating the Pats in Week 17 and we won't get it done.

you realize that if we had beaten Houston we would be the #1 seed? lol We're not close to Houston yet. Baltimore isn't what they have been, but they're still a solid team all around. I think the Pats are clearly the team to beat in the AFC. They'll go to the Super Bowl again. Miami has a shot in the Post Season if they face Denver in the 1st round. Not with the other 3.

 Re: Hope
We're not near being a complete team. But neither is Indy or San Diego. I like our chances if we play like we have been.
