Post Daniel Thomas practicing in full
Good news, but he's a bruising back that has had 2 concussions and frankly, I've seen worst hits in the NFL. I really don't see a long career in the NFL.

Thomas is just three weeks removed from his second concussion of the season, but it sounds like he'll be good to go as Reggie Bush's backup in Week 8 against the Jets.

Between contracts, injuries and slow development looks as tho we may need to address the RB position again soon...

Hope Thomas's new helmet helps his head injuries, hate to see a guy have long term effects from this. He is like many others who play in the NFL, they accept this as part of the job and just push forward.

I didn't know what you were talking about until I read this:

Daniel Thomas fitted for new helmet that's 'big as hell'

The team's medical staff apparently changed Thomas' helmet hoping that a bigger one that featured more padding would alleviate some of the head trauma this physical back has been experienced.

Hopefully it works.

Reports I read yesterday is there was no second concussion, just took a big hit a week after his first one, and as a precaution they sat him a week...
