DAVIE - Rookie tailback Jonas Gray practiced with the Miami Dolphins for the first time on Monday.
The former Notre Dame standout, who was signed as an undrafted rookie this summer, began the season on Miami’s physically unable to perform (PUP) because of the ACL injury he’s been rehabbing since mid-November.
The Dolphins have three weeks to work Gray out before deciding how they’ll handle his situation. The Dolphins would have to make room for him on the 53-man roster after that period, and the team already has five tailbacks and fullbacks on the 53-man.
