Players are developing under this coaching staff
This is one of the things that has me excited about this team. Ireland's draft picks are starting to look like starters under these coaches. Dave Hyde wrote: Players are developing under this coaching staff. This is the story of the Dolphins season, and it goes beyond Ryan Tannehill. As I’ve written before, look at the 2010 draft: Jared Odrick, Koa Misi, John Jerry, Reshad Jones and Nolan Carroll. All of them had questions entering this season. Now, at the very least, you see solid NFL starters out of some of them and the possibility of a player like Jones developing into something more. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miam ... 1302.story

We don't need starters, we've got plenty of those. What we need are finishers.

Re: Players are developing under this coaching staff
Jerry, Misi, and Odrick need to be better multi-dimensional players for us to improve. I think Jerry needs to be replaced, and Odrick is almost there. Misi needs to improve his pass rushing and coverage skills to not be replaced in the future.
Jones is playing well. Hope he continues to progress.
I'm not a Carroll fan. Could be a good nickle or fourth corner for us, but we need to replace him (and Marshall, unless he returns reincarnate of Revis).
As far as this class goes, it's looking pretty good. I don't know why Lamar is in Philbin's doghouse so bad. The coaching staff needs to get something out of Egnew and Martin needs to really step it up.
I see a solid two classes, but no stars (except for Tanny, but there's no telling if he'll continue to progress the way he has been. I think he will, though). Hopefully we can have a few break-outs and get some Pro Bowlers in these two classes, of which currently we have none.
