Pats and Jets love to take out our trash
Patriots worked out free agent WR Legedu Naanee on Tuesday. The work out reportedly went well, but no contract offer is forthcoming. Naanee will always look like an intriguing size/speed prospect in workouts, but his football skills and instincts are found wanting once the tape is turned on.

I can see ragging on the Jets , but cmon about implying anything about the Pats.

I'm shocked the Jets haven't tried out Naanee. They are desperate for help.

Pats love signing ex-Dolphins that don't fit in as well with the fins and then Belicheck signs them and low and behold they become contributors! Naanee had success in previous years and of course he puts a Miami uniform on and acts like he never played wide receiver in the NFL before.

This stuff happens all the time, teams sign in division opponent players for a playbook all the time. The Pats know we're the 2nd best team in the division right now and they want to keep it that way. The last thing they need is us sneaking up on them down the stretch and winning the division. There is a good chance only one team from our division will go to the playoffs this year.

They are suprememly talented, but they have proved over the years that a team that come in and 'punch them in the mouth', will beat them. So in that respect, if i were NE, I'd be a little worried.

Re: Pats and Jets love to take out our trash
Once again NE has nowhere to go but down. They have been dominant in this division for that long & the fact that the other 3 teams have failed to compete with them says more about them than NE. Finally overtaking them will not be an accomplishment but rather just natural cyclical progression for whatever teams finally steps up.
