 Russell Wilson, 3rd round gem
Russell Wilson just threw the game winning TD against the Packers as time expired. He now has 4 TD's and one INT. his QB rating after 3 games is in the 80's. We laughed when the Seahawks signed Flynn and he didn't become the starter. Guess Seattle is getting the last laugh.

Regardless of Wilson's overall play, that was no touchdown pass at the end. What an ugly series of events right there. Non-pass interference call to go with it.

I agree, not a touchdown. It was an interception. He's giving the kid props for throwing an interception that the replacement refs called a touchdown. That play was a joke. The Packers got screwed.

That first one to Tate must have been luck......or the other 2 he has tossed.....or only throwing one pick and having a rating in the 80's. Yep, no skill there. An amazing find in the 3rd round....and he is a good runner. Lots of teams ruled him out because of his size.

Before the last series he had only thrown something like 16 passes.

He had the "it" factor here as his mind seemed faster than the game. I really felt that he had the ability to play in the NFL and would have been happy if we drafted him. Whether he'll be better than Tannehill is hard to say. He started 4 years at QB for NCSU and Wisconsin, so, he has a bit of a head start over Tannehill.

Re: Russell Wilson, 3rd round gem
While I agree that the last play of the game was a royal screwing & was not a TD , I also agree that after 3 games Wilson is certainly a gem so far. I heard him doing an interview last week & he seems to have a great knowledge & respect for the game as well. With Luck & RG3 stealing the rookie QB headlines (and i think they will both be successful) Wilson certainly is outshining all of them ... so far.

So they find it as funny as I do that they paid Flyn starter money when we didnt, and now he has a 23 mil contract to hold a clip board? I'll take Moore over Flynn 10 out of 10 times to hold our rookies clip board, not too mention he comes for far less money....

Re: Russell Wilson, 3rd round gem
Please start these types of threads in the NFL forum or go to a Seahawks forum. The key word is 3 games. Let's see how he, RT, Luck and the rest of these young guys pan out before we crown them the next best thing or a bust.

And they still spent big bucks to sign a back up...

Re: Russell Wilson, 3rd round gem
another ridiculous kneejerk reaction. After 4 weeks Seattle is talking about benching Wilson.
Meanwhile Kurt Warner said that Ryan Tannehill has been more impressive than Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin this season.
