 Peyton Manning
I know many of us wanted him, myself included, this offseason. With all the questions surrounding his arm strength after surgery, I must say, I think he has lost a significant amount of velocity and accuracy on throws over 20 yards. His passes have looked awful tonight; 3 picks in the first qtr.

 Re: Peyton Manning
I absolutely agree. I foresee him making it thru this year, (providing he doesn't get injured first) and retiring after the season. Bad for the Broncos. His balls are not tight at all. You can see he isn't himself.

 Re: Peyton Manning
If I'm wrong, good for him. I'm serious. I have seen tons of Peyton's games and the velocity is not there. This is no disrespect to him or his passion for the game. Just an opinion.

 Re: Peyton Manning
I was big on the idea of bringing in Manning, but after seeing Tannehill throughout the offseason, preseason, and the past couple of games, I'm convinced we went in the right direction. Tannehill looks like he is going to be a very good NFL quarterback in time. He might not be elite this year, he'll have his blow up rookie games, but give him two to three years and he'll be one heck of a quarterback I think. Manning would have been great for this year and the next, but Tannehill has the potential to be great for a long time if we're patient in developing him. The kid has real talent, not it's just a matter of getting him developed and seasoned.

 Re: Peyton Manning
He was awesome last week. Took a step back this week.
He's not the old Peyton, but I still think he's a championship caliber QB.
Have to remember that he has a subpar supporting cast on offense.

Marino in '99 would play well & look like the Marino of hold one week, then next week would hit wide open defenders in stride. Re: Peyton Manning
Guys, chill I didn't say the guy sucked. He is still very cerebral and I still wouldn't want to play against him. I'm just saying that he has lost velocity on his passes. No one watching him throw, can deny that there is far less mustard on his passes. He knows where he wants to throw it, he just doesn't have the arm strength (yet) to get it there.

 Re: Peyton Manning
Ultimately, I think he'll be just fine. With his accuracy, intelligence, and experience, he can make up for the noticable loss in zip to his passes. They kind of have that Chad Pennington effect now, where even though they are very accurate and get to teh receiver, they are painful to watch in slow motion.

 Re: Peyton Manning
Atlanta had a great defensive game plan that confused him in the beginning. Whoever their Defensive Coordinator is I wish we had him!! Still had he gotten the ball one more time I think he would have won that game. Hard to win Monday Night road games vs. decent teams. Barring injury he will have a very successful run in Denver.
