Matt Moore is a great guy and a quality backup. That sounds like a slam against him, but you just cant underestimate the importance of a quality backup.

If Tannehill looks this good early on, imagine once he has a year of NFL under his belt and he gets some higher quality WRs to throw to!

Tannehill looks like a leader who can solidify the QB position for the Dolphins for a long time. Build around him Philbin!

Jovorskie has been laying the wood this preseason! I watched him play throughout High School and caught some of his A & M College games, he was a legend running back in Texas. What a nice story he is making the team after being completely out of football. Thanks to Mike Sherman.

You're right, if by some stroke of bad luck something happened to Tannehill we would have one of the best backup quarterbacks in the NFL in Matt Moore.
You're also right about Tannehill, the kid will have his ups and downs this year, but over the long haul he looks to be a very promising prospect that could bring an end to our quarterback search. Hopefully Ireland can get this kid some weapons sooner than later.

Moore is 3/10 34 yds and a pick 6 in the 1st half. He has a qb rating of 1.7 ouch.

Yep, it's good to let some of the starters try to end the preseason on a high note, but next week in Houston is going to be a real wake up call if we're not prepared. The Texans are a good football team.

Great, It will be years before Junkie and Rock let this move go. Every week, if we had Vontae, if Vontae was on the team, Vontae would have picked it, Vonta would have made the tackle, Vontae would have broken up that pass, Vontae' hit would have caused a fumble, If Vontae was blitzing he would make the sack, if Vontae was here he could play WR.....Jeez guys, it's done, we get it, you don't like the move. My take is if Vontae didn't come to practice drunk he would be here, if Vontae didn't violate team rules he would be here, if Vontae came to camp in shape he would be here, if Vontae was that good of a corner he would be here.

Every move Ireland makes is under the microscope right now ..... he hasn't earned a hall pass. So ya, it's gonna take time to play out before we get an official idea of the merit of the trade.

I can't remember a time when I thought Nolan Carrol was doing well. He is the only Dolphin I am not fond of . I have never seen anything about him that says NFL.

I love to say it...I told you guys back when we traded VD it was a bad move for this year. We had a deep secondary, of which, he was the best player. I posed the question what would happen if Marshall went down and you had Carroll or Wilson starting at CB...well now we're down to Sanford and son. Bad move. Ireland's ego needed stroking and he got good value if I recall. We'll see about that.
