It will be interesting to see how Mike Nolan uses Cameron, but he really needs to step his game up in regards to run defense.
Miami needs him on the field for 3 downs, not only on 3rd down.

One of the intangibles about Porter was his leadership at Pittsburgh. Well, I think he showed everyone what his leadership was all about when he insulted his former teammates in order to justify himself when he wanted to be released. It's all about Porter. Tim Graham wrote: ProFootballFocus.com credited Wake with 20 pressures, six hits and seven sacks (5.5 actual sacks) on only 134 rushes.
Porter tallied 11 pressures, five hits and nine sacks (nine actual) on 354 rushes.
Porter had a 5.93 PRP, fifth on the team behind Wake, Taylor, Kendall Langford (6.42) and Randy Starks (6.34).
"As it turns out Wake was actually generating more pressure, period, than Porter, let alone on a per-snap basis," Monson said. "Given all those numbers, someone might want to suggest to Porter he watch the tape and think himself lucky he wasn't losing more snaps to Wake."

We didn't do very much of that 2 of his 3 years here.

I said it all last season... He was over paid for his production and Anderson/Wake looked like an upgrade at times...
one productive season is not enough, and if you have a look now you will see nobody is concerned about him slipping away to another team..
He is no Peppers...

I like Wake, he's a good story :) I hope he improves and gets more downs next season. Would be awesome if he got doubledigit sacks :)

Wake's "effeciency" will go down as he plays more. Unless he has Superman-like stamina.

Re: Cameron Wake most efficient pass rusher in the NFL in 09
I thought Pasqualoni did a good job of utilizing Cam-Wake. He's been one-dimensional, so, he is not a complete OLB. They tried him in coverage at practice and was getting roasted.
One thing about him is that when he is in the game the other team knows that he's going after the quarterback, and he still applied pressure. It will be interesting to see whether Nolan can get Wake up to the next level. Personally I think he is what he is and that is a pass rusher.
