 Latest moves around NFL
UPDATE: Per Schefter, it appears the deal is done. And Quinn is off to Denver.
Thats per ESPN insiders. Looks like the Broncos got a pretty good QB. I always liked Quinn, don't think he got a fair shot in Cleveland. The Broncos gave up Peyton Hillis and 6th rounder in 2011 and something in 2012. Also, the Browns have traded Wimbley to the Raiders for a 3 rd pick.

he Cleveland Browns have traded LB Kamerion Wimbley to the Oakland Raiders for a third-round pick in the 2010 draft, according to a league source

I thought he was absolute crap, but thats just me. I doubt he will wrestle too many snaps from Orton, even though he's hardly the future either.

 Re: Latest moves around NFL
So the browns got rid of a below-average QB and an average QB and picked up that INT-throwing machine as their replacement?
They better be looking draft....

Holmgren is acting quickly & putting his stamp on the Browns. They will be better.

They better be looking draft.... I'm willing to bet Seneca Wallace is the starter, and Delhomme backs him up. Like the Hasselbeck/Dilfer combo in Seattle.

 Re: Latest moves around NFL
Browns fans better hope Wallace doesn't go down. If Delhomme played how he did in Carolina with Steve Smith and maybe the best two-back backfield in the NFL I'd hate to see how he does in Cleveland.
Poor Browns :(

I remember everyone argued with me when I said Gibril Wilson would be splitting his playing time because "you don't pay a guy X amount to sit on the bench." His contract has nothing to do with how much playing time he will get.

Yeah, iowa....Pretty sure Gibril got a lot less playing time than was originally planned.

 Re: Latest moves around NFL
Seneca Wallace is trash too... he got rid of 2 below average QB's and brought in 2 more below average QB's...
Nice move getting Peyton Hillis, cuz that kid could be a star, but the QB situation is still in shambles.

 Re: Latest moves around NFL
I still think its different decision for a quarterback. He can of course go all JaMarcus Russel again be benched, but if that doesn't happen I don't see Seneca Wallace taking the job atleast. Maybe a draft QB?

 Re: Latest moves around NFL
It looks like they did just switch 2 so so (qb) for 2 more so so ones. But thats what it looked like when he left the Packers and to Hasselback with him made a lot of ppl scratch there heads that year. Now look at Hasselback is still a solid (qb). Then agin he could just be setting up to take a (qb) in the draft and with 2 vets he wont have to throw the young guy out in the line of fire right away.
