OT: Jets to Push Hard to Sign LaDainian Tomlinson
Quote: Jets to Push Hard to Sign L.T. Thu Mar 11, 2010 www.ffmastermind.comThe New York Daily News reports free-agent RB LaDainian Tomlinson is on his way to visit the Jets, who are prepared to put on a full-court press for the future Hall of Famer, according to multiple league sources. From all reports, Tomlinson was impressed with the Vikings, but he left this evening without a contract. After the Jets, he reportedly may visit the Eagles and Saints.

I'm not sure why they're doing this... They wouldn't pay to keep Thomas Jones, who knows the system and put up career numbers last season.

Stick a fork in LT....he is done....and has been done. Adding the guy would be a waste of money for any team at this point. He should retire a Charger and wait for the hall of fame to call.

We shut him down in SD the last few times, we will shut him down in NY...
LT is not the kind of back I worry about...
I still think the R&R express is the deadliest duo in the east...

I hope he goes to the Eagles. A good offense, super bowl contender, and not in the AFC. Perfect for me and my favorite player.

It looks like the Jests didn't offer him the money or opportunity he was looking for. He is back in San Diego contemplating the Jets and Vikings offers. I think he'll get to run the ball more in New York.

Yeah, If their offers are comparable he is probably weighing playing time and super bowl contention at the moment.

I hope they do and I hope they way over pay for him...cause LT is a nice guy and he deserves the money and because the jets are not getting the player that was dominant a couple of years ago.

Yeah, he's a great person...which means he doesn't deserve to even be courted by the Puke Green Fat Ryans.

I think there's a fair chance for more carries in Jets than in Vikings but that the Vikings, if Brett comes back, are a more complete team that should have a good chance to run it all the way in the playoffs.

He signed a two year deal. Too bad because I always liked LT; now I have to hate on him.

No. But LT does have the nasty green stench that cannot be easily washed off. He is tainted. For good. The only way to be rid of the stench is to come and play for the Phins and excel against gangrene (a la Pennington).
