Just read on one of the nfl.com blogs that he wants to be traded.
I wouldnt mind bringing this guy in. Hes a young back who can explode over the opponent and hes just lookin for some more playing time.

I know we got two backs already but i think id like white over ricky.

meh, why make a move like that when Ricky is coming off a great season. He will hopefully return to backup duty a position he prefers with Ronnie in front. Despite him going down at the end of the season he has a 4.7 yd avg and White has 3.3, only on 64 carries, though but still a great o-line.

Only reason we need a back right now is if Ronnie gets the offer from someone else.

Then we either use that pic for a RB or grab a FA/Trade

Ronnie & Ricky aka the R&R express is top 3 in terms of RB tandems in the NFL... Why would you break that up until you have to..

We finished 4th in the NFL last season with 2,231 yards on 509 carries...

And Ronnie was gone the final 4 or 5 whatever it was.....

Nope, either draft a stud in the first 2 rounds this year, or next year use the first rounder on one (granted our D issues get worked out this offseason)

To me, right now Lendale is just as valuable as Lex Hilliard. Thats mostly based on attitude . . .

Again, I just don't see it guys. Rookie RB's are so good and so easy to find, there's no need to plan ahead these days. Once it becomes a need, than you draft one. But you don't draft one to develope, and you don't trade for veterans. That last one is the ultimate no-no in today's game.

We don't need another old RB, we have 1 1/2 already. Youth and vigor is what we need. Ricky will need replacing after this season, but the rest are good to go for a while. Get the young guys, or new young guys to spin up.

What's the story with Cobbs?

i say no. there are alot of stud rb's coming out in the draft. and i think we could grab one between 4th-7th rounds. we have much bigger needs. i think white just want carrol to crab him so he can play for his old coach. just saying

The need to drop that kind of weight in the first place baffles me. He's in a professional sport. Atleast in my part of the world that is ridicilous.

NO WAY.....Draft a RB and we will be better off. I mean you can possibly get a player like Javaris James as an undrafted free agent. Besides I think Lendale White is to slow for the style of running game we have. I know we power run but all of our backs right now can be patient, drop there shoulders, and then exploded through the hole. Bottom line all our backs are alot quicker and shiffty than White.
