I don't think so.

Atogwe will stay in St. Louis, and Rolle is a Giant.

Ryan Clark is a possibility, but I don't think we will end up signing him.

I would not count Miami out of the Rolle sweepstakes just yet.

No, at some point he'll run out of gas...I don't want it to be in Miami.

Would love to see Rolle in Miami....I believe we need some more Canes on our squad.

I heard Sharper & Bethea may be of interest. Look, our FO is so stealth that sources are stabbing in the dark to try to predict what we want. Go ahead & name any FA FS on the market, then check our radar next to it. It looks like we were never serious about Rolle to begin with. He probably isn't worth as much as he just got paid so we offered what we valued

It looks like Miami has bowed out of the running for Rolle and it is down to the Giants and the Cardinals. This is according to Profootballtalk.com.

When the Chicago Bears locked onto defensive end Julius Peppers on Thursday night, they dropped out of the Antrel Rolle sweepstakes.

Now that the Dolphins have signed linebacker Karlos Dansby, they apparently have abandoned the pursuit of Rolle, too.

Per a league source, the negotiations for Rolle's services have focused on the Giants and the Cardinals.

It makes sense. With Miami giving $22 million and $8.5 million per year to Dansby, investing $8 million annually in Rolle would represent the kind of free spending that should be avoided by a team that sometimes struggles to fill its stadium.

Thus, barring something unforeseen, Rolle will remain a Cardinal or become a Giants, probably soon.

Antrel Rolle is now the highest paid safety in the NFL, as he has signed with the New York Giants. It is a 5 yr/37 million deal.

Well for that kind of money, no thanks. I suddenly find it a lot more plausible that we draft a safety in the first round.

So that leaves Ryan Clark. Is he worth a shot, or do we just play out the draft for a young S. We defintly need help at S, I mean even when our D was looking good and playing tough last year, all it took was a run or pass G. Wilson's way and all the work the downs before were for nothing. Not sure I like D. Sharper right now, cuz that will just leave us needing another S in about a year or 2.

If he isn't too expensive he would be a great mentor and he can split time if we draft a safety.

I still think we should make a move for atogwe, at least put in an offer to see what st louis is expecting. Ryan Clark is an average player to me, another gerbil. Atogwe can be a game changer, he creates turnovers.

i agree oj atogwe made tons of plays last year for the rams ( even on a bad defense he found a way to make plays) the fins need someone that will make plays for them like oj or darren sharper, even tho darren is old, he can still play... heck, sign him, its better than gibril
