The Chargers also made the surprising move of releasing veteran defensive tackle Jamal Williams. Williams has been one of San Diego's key run-stuffers for 12 seasons. He sustained a triceps injury in the 2009 season opener and missed the rest of the year. He also has a history of knee injuries. _________________

Re: Chargers release DT Jamal Williams Miami will show interest, but not tons.
Even before the injury he was not the NT he once was. There was a significant drop in his play this year before the injury, and last season. |
