 Re: The Heat are crying
Look , its all homerism 101 here. Would any of us "attacked" (mocked) Ryan Mallett's father had he been picked by the Dolphins instead of the Patriots. I dont think Lebrons mom was attacked in this thread but you have to think she looked down on that valet. I think she has a history of this (drinking) so hopefully she will be humbled & get some help.

This is where Tommy goes from Disney character to internet tough guy. If I did it in person, you would go crying for a napkin to wipe it off. And let me go ahead and predict your next reply for you... You're going to boast about the hand to hand combat training you've had and perhaps give us examples of your exploits in beating (imaginary) people up. Save it Tommy. Your act is tired and old. You've been run off and banned from other sites for it. Everyone laughs at you for it. No one respects you for it.

I will ask again: does attacking her ( or bringing her up if you wish) make you feel better? We are talking about Heat vs Mavs and you are bringing parents into the thread. Hallucinogens tend to make people see things others don't.

This is where you're wrong Dick, I mean Rich. It won't even come to that because you're too much of a pussy to actually do it. Now since you're the one who instigated this whole thing, maybe I should call my buddy Defense54 and have you thrown in the county lockup. Maybe the guy who cornholes you will be another Dolphins fan. It'll give you something to talk about when you're cuddling afterwards.

What you fail to see is the blind hatred others have towards the Heat because they were able to pull off something the rest of the fans in the NBA wanted their team to pull off. If the Knicks had gotten Lebron to go with Stoudemire and Wade, Jean Claude van Dumb (aka Tommy) would be loving it. If the Lakers had managed to bring in Lebron and Bosh to play alongside Kobe, dolphan74 might quit his rabid LSD habit. It's all about hypocrisy. The reason fans in the NBA hate the Heat so much is because their teams weren't able to sign these guys. End of story.

People can make up excuses, and logical ones. But the bottom line is that these guys are paid millions of dollars to live everyone's dream....to do what the Lakers did was pathetic and I'm still pissed at everyone minus Kobe. FINesse, I understand your point on how this team came together and all that. I don't like it either. But don't blame the Heat or the 3 players, blame the NBA for allowing it. They took advantage of a bogus system; You, I and anyone else in that situation would do the same. Hopefully the new CBA doesn't allow for this to happen again...

Could you explain? I'm curious as to where you are going with this.

Could you explain? I'm curious as to where you are going with this.[/quote] The NBA doesn't have a hard cap like the NFL does. The Heat, because of stupid sign and trade rules, and the vet minimum BS, were able to go way over the cap without actually going over. Of their 12 players, 7 were playing "over" the cap, without actually counting against it. I'm not going to pretend to understand the luxury tax, and trade exception stuff (I don't think that came into play with the Heat anyway), but it's all stupid, IMO. The owners are trying to put a hard cap in place in the next CBA, and I hope they get it. Would eliminate all of these loopholes that allow for 3 "max" players to come together like this while still being able to acquire good veteran talent around them the way the Heat did this Off Season, and the Celtics did two years ago.

OK, this topic has gotten way out of hand. Good to know we've got such a mature group in here.
