I wanted to wish you all a safe and Merry Christmas! Hope Santa is good to you all.

I am rarely here this season and when I do - I mostly just lurk. This is due to my son being born Sept 1st.

I wanted to share a story you all might appreciate, as most people I tell the story don't seem impressed. My son's name is Ka'eo (Hawaiian name) Zachary. He was due Sept 3rd and it turns out Sept 1st is Zach Thomas' birthday. I told my husband, if baby was born on the 1st - I wanted his middle name to be Zachary.

I checked into the hospital Aug 31st around 4:30pm and was told I should have a fast delivery. So I didn't think he would be born on the 1st, like I hoped. Then I ended up having a difficult labor and he wasn't born until 9:00pm, I started to worry he was going to be born on the 2nd. LOL

Anyways - I hope some of you can appreciate he is named after one of the Dolphin's great players.

Zach is my all time favorite too. Don't mean to steal your idea, but if I have a kid one day it's going to be named Zach.....

... whether it's a boy or a girl.

Haha jk.

Nice story on naming your child. My oldest son's middle name is Daniel. I dont think I need to explain why!!

To this day my wife has no idea why I requested that middle name!

haha too funny..my son also has Daniel as a middle name and my daughter not be left out is named Danielle..
