Dolphins "strongly leaning toward getting rid of" FS Gibril
Armando Salguero wrote: Gibril Wilson. I was talking to a Dolphins source about Wilson and without prodding, he told me, "All I know is we can get rid of anyone we don't think can do the job without it hurting our ability to get other players." So that tells me the Dolphins are strongly leaning toward getting rid of Wilson if they haven't decided to do so already. A free safety is supposed to be the final line of defense and it seemed like Wilson was instead an open invitation to score touchdowns. Add to that the fact he didn't bring any game-changing plays to the table, and I think you get the idea. http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins ... tions.html

I don't think they will dump da Gerbil, apparently YBell has a 14 million dollar bonus for 2010, no way they pay that for him, da Gerbil is paid for and now has the less expensive portion of his contract coming due.
YBell being a probowler will only increase his price.

Gibril showed me nothing and we need to improve at this position and not be a glutten for punishment by bringing him back to see repeated poor results at the safety position.
Yeramiah Bell, IMO, is still solid and deserves to be back. I am excited to see who could be available through free agency. Does anyone know any good ones that could be an asset to sign?

Jettison Wilson.....what a bonehead move in free agency.......that is two years in a row now. The team can't afford these kind of bad free agent siginings. Wilson was a huge factor in most of the team losses last year.
Just when you thought we couldn't do worse on the signing of Wilford.....

I was strongly leaning towards shooting him after he dropped the easiest pick in the world vs. Houston.

He's done more harm than good, get him out of here.
