Dolphins looking to add a tight end in offseason
Thank you. Quote: Looking to add a tight end in offseason Wed, 03 Feb 2010 08:06:05 -0800
Barry Jackson, of the Miami Herald, reports that NFL people who spoke with the Miami Dolphins at the Senior Bowl said they made clear they want to add a tight end with speed and receiving skills to beat defenses downfield. The Dolphins might keep restricted free-agent TE Anthony Fasano but remain noncommittal. http://www.kffl.com/team/22/NFL

Re: Dolphins looking to add a tight end in offseason
A great TE can really open things up for an offense, in 2008 we had a lot of nice plays to Martin and Fasano, and I thought that the two of them could really hold down the position. After last year, however, Fasano isn't looking like a true #1 receiving TE. I really like Jimmy Graham, sure he's a little raw, but the kids got huge hands and I saw him make plenty of nice plays.

I think Jimmy Graham is going to be a very good TE with the right coaching. Wouldn't mind getting him in the middle of the draft.

We need to get a young stud TE in the draft... Period.
So by saying that... I would keep the better blocker in Fasano vs Haynos... Maybe even the cheapest one (Haynos). Plus Haynos is 6'7 and has better hands than Fasano IMO.

Getting their rear end's handed to them all year by opposing tight ends must have made an impression on the Parfecta. lol

That is out of the box thinking right there. First the wildcat and now tight ends who can run and catch!?! What kind of crazy thing is this team gonna think of next!?

Lol seems to be a pretty deep class in the TE department.

I third that idea, as long as we can get him in the later rounds. I dont have any idea where he is projected to go in the draft, but he would be a nice tight end to have to stretch the ball down field.
