UPDATE 1:15 p.m.: That is indeed former Colts left tackle Tony Ugoh out there with the Dolphins today, a source has confirmed. Ugoh, who made 27 combined starts for the Colts from 2007-09, is a former second-round pick out of Arkansas who lost ground at Indianapolis due to a nagging toe injury. Ugoh can also play some guard, which likely gave him a leg up over ex-Bengals tackle Levi Jones, who also worked out for the team over the weekend.

I don't know how I feel about this. Great that we have a backup with some experience, but he's injury prone....how many injury prone players are we going to add to this roster?

Most of the guys that are available right now are injury prone or just aren't good enough to play at this level.

Most, yes
But we've seen guys like Danny Woodhead, Heath Evans, Lousaka Polite, Cedric Benson, get picked up after the season has started and make impacts for their team.

Regardless, I'm not just speaking towards midseason pickups....Jake Grove, Justin Smiley, Channing Crowder, Al Harris, Jason Ferguson, Chad Pennington...were all resigned or signed by this regime when they were known to have an injury problem.

Pretty telling that only 3 of those guys are still on the team. 1 is on IR and his career is probably over. Another missed several games this season, is slow, has nagging knee injuries and wildly inconsistent (And a big mouth). And the 3rd.. Harris was only signed 2 games ago.

We should be talking about what this team is going to be doing next year. I'm not usually the first one to jump off the bridge. But, I can say this.. this season is done.. barring a miraculous win out. (Which STILL doesn't guarantee us a WC spot. Considering who we've lost to)

Now I'm told Ugoh will not be signing with the Dolphins at this time. He's already moved on down to the road to work out for the Redskins

He was only gonna' be a band-aid anyway. In some ways, it is better to lose out and get the higher pick....hate feeling that way, but we need some speed and talent at running back now....and Vereen will be a high pick.
