Post Who will be Brett Favre's "go-to" receiver on Sunday?
Scince Camarillo has practiced against the Miami defense, I expect to see more than 2 passes thrown his way. Camarillo has good hands and has a good feel for finding the gaps in a defense. Just like Bess, he doesn't get many yards after the catch.

Dave Hyde wrote:
In Minnesota, the question is how Brett Favre replaces injured receiver Sidney Rice.

"Favre was far from sharp in the Vikings' 14-9 season-opening loss at New Orleans, but he also didn't look like a quarterback who necessarily had a favorite wide receiver on the field,'' writes Judd Zulgad in the Minneapolis Star-Tribune today. "Tight end Visanthe Shiancoe was the target of a game-high seven passes and caught four of them. Among the wide receivers, Percy Harvin had five balls thrown his way and caught one. Bernard Berrian (targeted three times), Greg Camarillo (two) and Greg Lewis (two) each caught one pass apiece."

my hunch is he will still be trying to get Harvin as his main threat while Rice is down.

Shiancoe will be the threat. Miami has demonstrated in year's past that the defense is vulnerable down the middle of the field. Maybe this year things will be different??

This is one of the reasons I really like our chances on Sunday...No Sydney Rice, Harvin looks to be out too, that leaves Shiancoe, Camarillo, and Berrian in the passing game. Plus Farve is 41 and really starting to play like it. We have a young aggressive defense that is going to rough him up. The key is going to be not letting Peterson run wild. But this is a very winnable game for the Phins.

I trust our run D more than I trust our pass D, especially with Allen in for Smith. Smith I liked better for cov, but Allen seems a more upfront stuffer.

Here's hoping it is Vontae Davis and Jason Allen.

Now now boys... I've seen Dan Marino throw more touchdowns to other teams before too...

Be nice! Or Karma will EFF us!

Shiancoe was Brett's top target....a no-brainer. Once Favre was beaten, hurried and flustered, the turnover machine started running in earnest!
