The NFL really needs to change their rules for what constitutes a catch. I don't care how you dice it, that was a touchdown. I don't think you need to make it all that complicated, almost everyone at home can easily identify a touchdown when they see it, and that was a touchdown. Too bad for the Lions, they got jobbed.

Agree 100%... he was clearly using the ball to get back to his feet and they somehow misinterpret that for an incomplete pass... c'mon refs, you're people, not robots, use your best judgment.

I dont get that at all either. When rushing all you need to do is break the plane of the goal line for a TD, even if you drop it after you break the goal line. So why not the same rules for a catch? As soon as you have posession and 2 feet in, isnt that the same as breaking the plane of the goal line??
I remember Chris Chambers made a nice catch in the corner of the endzone and because he lost posession after he hit the ground out of bounds it was ruled no catch.
