Sparano should have listened to us in camp a year ago when we suggested they work Pat White in as a "slash" type of a player. Still, I think he lacks the toughness for the NFL and do not think he will make it in that capacity either. He reminds me too much of Ted Ginn.

Speaking of quarterbacks, it’s time for Pat White(notes) to give up on that dream and see if he can become a latter-day Antwaan Randle El(notes). White, a second-round pick in 2009, has steadfastly said he wants to be a passer, but he has very little ability to be more than a Wildcat player, and even that is a stretch. With Henne, Chad Pennington(notes) and Tyler Thigpen(notes), White stands almost zero chance of making this team as a QB

Ted Ginn? Don't view White as someone afraid of getting hit.

Wasn't there a rumor that White refused to do any role outside of QB? I heard that floated last season. I've always thought that instead of the wildpat (Spread with Pat White as QB) they should use White as the running back in the Wildcat offense. As far as him making the team, the only way that happens is if they don't trade Thigpen or Pennington.

He is hopeless as an NFL QB and looks awfully small and slight as he walks from the huddle to the line. I don't even see him as an NFL running back. He might be an interesting utility player....3rd down scat back....special teamer.....but since he isn't being used in that fashion, how would anyone ever know?

Henne, Thigpen and Pennington will be the three QB's....we don't need anyone else at that position. I bet we draft one next year though. A low pick probably. Our biggest offensive need for next draft is likely a running back.

I guess we will know for sure at about 11:00 tonight.

Honestly though as tough as it is to admit the brass blew this one , it looks like they did.
I just fear he is gonna get laid out again like he did vs. the Steelers.
