Post Whose stock went up tonight?
Julius Pruitt - Caught a couple of nice balls in traffic'
Patrick Turner - had a couple of nice grabs and didn't look lost
Marlon Moore - Managed a couple of grabs.
Ronnie Brown - Brown looked quick and hard to bring down
Lex Hilliard - Just a war horse who did everything including a 1 handed grab.
Rolly Lumbala - Big wide body FB who even managed to catch a pass.
Koa Misi - Took the first team OT and pushed him back into the QB. It was an awesome play. He was consistently applying pressure.
Channing Crowder - Seemed a step quicker tonight but still gets caught up in traffic at the POA
2nd team front 7 - I could single them out but the unit as whole played really well. 79 Llama Face stuff every run his way.
Nate Ness - Despite a mistake on the long throw he more than made up for it with 2 FF and 2 consecutive pass break ups inside the 5.

Nolan Carroll...looked solid back there, nice break and burst to knock away and nearly pick off a pass. He makes up ground in a hurry and seems to be in position...unlike several other players tonight in the secondary.

Micah Johnson. I think this kid was active and looked good. He always seemed to be around he ball and hit the hole hard and quick. He has only been with the squad for like 2 weeks. I hope this kid makes the team and honestly he looked better than Folsom and spitler. I also think linoel dotson and quienton Moses had a good game. Both looked quick.

on offense it was a poor outing by many
for me john jerry looks like the starter at guard!!!
m moore and p turner did ok

defense i liked a few things p solai won his 1on1 battles at the nose , his looking gd!!!
k misi looks a starter as well
n carroll and n ness looks to have given us nice depth at the corner spots
m johnson i like the look off [did b4 the draft]

and q moses gave us a outside pass rush which wasnt there much in the early stages

I think Marlon Moore had an impressive day. Made a couple of nice cathces, especially one that he went up and made a nice catch over the corner. I was impressed!

Ronnie also looked very quick and hard to take down. Lets just hope he's healthy this year!

Paul Soliai. looked very good, even though most of his work came against the 2nd and 3rd center, but overall good performance by paul.

McDaniel was getting noticeable pressure. I saw Misi get folded up from a viscous double team that allowed Crowder to get a tackle for a loss. I like that. Grant has potential but looked a little behind at the moment. & what about Ike? Does this guy have a nose for the ball? It seemed like he was always in on the action

I like Ike at OLB, lol.. He seemed good in run coverage and pass rush but I didn't see much pass coverage out of him.

I thought Paul played better than Starks, although I think he only got one series against Tampa's starters, unless I'm mistaken. Odrick looked kinda lost out there sometimes, which was to be expected. But if Paul steps up this season, who's to say we shouldn't move Starks back to DE and rotate Langford and Odrick?

All of those players in the OP played good games in my opinion as well, though.

I thought Nate Ness did really well. He had the one oopsies play where he let up the deep ball, but other than that he was a lock down corner all night!

Not Wallace...I meant Marlon Moore...I always get those two mixed up.

Although Wallace did look pretty smooth for a big guy out there.

As for Spitler, he wasn't too stout against the run in a base D, but that's to be expected. He was moving around pretty well out there, I thought, and made a couple of nice open field tackles.
