1. On a day the defense dominated the offense, a day Charles Grant had three sacks and Cameron Wake even beat the brick wall called Jake Long, Koa Misi wasn't noticed much. Considering he's being asked to have an impact as a rookie - fairly or unfairly - this is something to follow.
...
2. Pat White threw his best ball of training camp, a 14-yard, perfect strike over the middle to Robero Wallace, who busted it upfield for a big gain. Throws like that are important because White looks like the fourth quarterback right now ...
3. Let me get this straight: The coaches thought enough of Sean Smith to start him 16 games last year, but were so worried after 10 days of training camp he was demoted? Let’s not overreact. ...
4. Free safety Chris Clemons looks fine ...
5. It took one practice for David Martin to enter, if briefly, as a first-team tight end. ...

I think it's just the media and perhaps fans that are asking him to make an impact. But aren't all rookies asked to make an impact? Look at the stats, and very rarely does a DE or OLB make any sort of impact in their first season.

Misi's pass rush isn't anything special, he gets held up a lot. His coverage, however, is pretty nice for an OLB-he has speed and vision.
