Rookie linebacker A.J. Edds had an ice pack on one of his knees Monday, and the Dolphins fear that the injury is serious. The Dolphins had hoped Edds would play in passing situations this season. His injury leaves the team with five healthy inside linebackers -- Karlos Dansby, Channing Crowder, Tim Dobbins, Austin Spitler and J.D. Folsom.

Motherlover ....... I really wanted to see this kid play this year. I thought he was going to be a good contributor.

Well this is extremely disappointing. Makes the trade for Dobbins that much more important.

Yeah, if anyone happened to see some of this kids highlight video he really could add a spot we were surely needing last year...

I know its just highlights, but I want to see what he brings to the table.. Hope he doesnt loose any speed or agility with this injury

That the thing about Training Camp, it's making it through injuries. I hate it for AJ, as I think he would have been a solid contributor this year, especially in the 3rd down and passing packages.

Hard to see any Dolphin player go down with a season ending injury.........like someone else said, its good Dobbins is around..... they will probably have Micah Johnson, Austin Spitler and J.D. Folsom battling it out for the 4th ILB spot.....with the losers going to the practice squad.

JD Folsom isn't an inside linebacker, and I don't believe he's eligible for the PS. And at 234, Spitler is more than likely a special teamer.

Folsom is an ILB as he even got playing time for us when Channing went down, and Ayodele wasn't 100%. I'm pretty sure though that he was only active for a game or 2, so, I think he is eligible.

Looks like he was only promoted for 3 games? Not positive. But I do know he's an ILB.

Um..well I don't remember that, but when you have no one else to play there what do you expect?

Our No. 4 ILB better be a special teamer. If not, our special teams are in trouble.
