Post OT: Rex Ryan to Write his Memoirs
Man, this is someone who is just full of himself. Does he even have a Super Bowl ring?

Rex Ryan to Write his Memoirs
Tue Jun 29, 2010 --from FFMastermind.com

The New York Daily News reports Jets HC Rex Ryan has decided to write his memoirs. The swashbuckling head coach will collaborate with best-selling author Don Yaeger on a nontraditional autobiography that blends Ryan’s upbringing with his leadership style. “It’s not a true autobiography, because, as Rex likes to say, he’s far too young for that,” Yaeger said. “He’s got so much to say and there are so many parts of his life that are interesting. Obviously, the Jets are a major portion of the project. Rex’s leadership style is a big part of the project. So it’s not just a straight ‘I-was-born-here-and-raised-there’ kind of book.” Yaeger, who has written books on RB Walter Payton, RB Warrick Dunn and QB Warren Moon, will spend the next several weeks with Ryan to capture the essence of the Jets’ brash, tell-it-like-it-is leader. The former Sports Illustrated editor will spend some time with Ryan at training camp in August before finishing the manuscript in December. The autobiography will be published by Doubleday Books and released in late spring 2011.

As much as I hate the jests, could there be a better coach for that team?

That "who do you hate the most thread" was interesting to me, because I kind of like Rex Ryan...as a Dolphin fan, he's fun to hate on, but I don't wish any will ill on him. He's made it a fun rivalry.
On the other hand, Belicheat is just a loser of a person, I hate him because of the unwarranted worshipping and winning.

Iowa is right. As much as I hate the Jets, I dont hate Ryan. I think he's got a cool mojo about him. He is bolsterous, and makes absurd predictions, but hey, thats NY for you.

Belichick is the scum of the Earth. His son attends Rutgers Univ. When we started the season miserably 2 years ago, he made an unannounced visit to the locker room and started preaching his BS. After RU went on to rip off 6 straight wins and another bowl victory, he smuggly announced to our school paper that he was the culprit behind the winning streak. Like seriously??? get a life. He isnt even a friendly person, and his son drives a lambo to school. Ive gone out of my way to pour sour milk over his radiator twice now, and yes its childish, but it makes me feel SOOOOOOOO much better.

Excatly, I hate his team but I enjoy watching his interviews and ridiculous predictions. He fits that organization perfectly.

I like Ryan, too, but why doesn't he write something once he has actually done something?

I don't like Rex Ryan. I actually hate his guts and think his immaturity casts a bad image on the NFL and the Jets, (the latter not necessarily being a bad thing). The media loves him because he gives them quotes, but I don't see how his crying and (b)----ing can be good for the NFL.

His father was the same way and never gave any opponent any respect or credit for anything, even The Don, and is always trying to pick fights through the media. Then when he wins something, he feels like he should be the center of the world and anybody not bowing down to his greatness gets him irritated.

Am I a homer? You bet your you-know-what I am, but Coach Sparano is exactly the type of coach that NFL teams need. A players coach who doesn't play media games and is all about doing the hard/overtime work without getting recognition. Rex Ryan had a PROCEDURE done to lose like 30 pounds or something. He hyped himself up. Coach Sparano worked his tail off to shed weight and trim down, and apparently looks great and you do not here him talk about it at all. It took the media hard-digging to find out what he did.

IMO, Rex Ryan wont last 3 more years in NY, and being as honest as possible, this is what I think of the man and the coach.

I'm with you there Dave about the only thing he could write that would hold any value is maybe a cookbook?.. "Death by grease in three games or less?"..
