Post Heading into the season- Biggest fan concern?
Just curious on what the fan base thinks is the biggest concern heading into camps...Early yes, but we will run the same poll after the last preseason game....Other can be an option also....Lets hear it!

It is not on your list....RB!

Starter-Ronnie Brown-coming back from another season ending injury, unsigned and may not come to camp until September
Backup-Ricky Williams-older, slowing down, and cannot be relied on to start 16 games
Backup-Patrick Cobbs-coming off a serious season ending injury
Backup-Lex Hillard-has shown flashes but is young and still unproven

Has to be OLB. I'm actually very pleased with not only our starters but our depth at every other position on this team. I really think that OLB could be an issue though.

I know that Mike Nolan is not Paul P. in that he relies on his OLB's for pressure. No, he sends in crazy blitzes and the QB does not know who or where they are coming from. But, even with that said, there comes a time when you are going to need to provide pressure from the outside with a basic 4 or 5 man rush. Starks, Odrick, Merling and Langford should be able to provide pressure from the interior, but the OLB's do have to show up.

Cam Wake needs to show the coaching staff that he can play the run. I couldn't care less about his coverage skills. "He can't drop back into coverage right now" -- OK, good for him, then send him after the QB. If Cam is just a 3rd down specialist, Miami is going to have a tough time getting pressure from the outside on 1st and 2nd down. Charlie Anderson sucks, Quinton Moses is nothing more than depth and Koa Misi is a creative pass rusher, but he does not have natural pass rushing skills. He's not going to get there consistently.

And if God forbid either Cam or Koa get hurt...

Miami is going to deeply regret not resigning JT. I guarantee it.

QB. Young guy coming into his first season a starter. You just never know what you are gonna get. While depth at other positions is thin I truly beleive there is 0 depth at QB. None of the other guys on the roster can win a super bowl if Henne goes down or under performs.
Dolphins always seem to find an answer at other positions when something happens but if something happens at the QB spot while we might be in most games , any hopes of truly making an impact in the post season would be very difficult.

I agree on JT phinsrock. I know everyone thinks I just liked him as a gorgeous man. But I first liked him as a ball player. He's good and was an asset to our team. Hated seeing him go and like you, I think they will regret it sooner than later.

I actually think we will be ok at OLB. I think Wake will do fine. I disagree with PR about Anderson sucking. He's made plays when he's had the opportunity. Not quite like Wake.. But, still pretty darn good. Koa Misi is going to be a stud. The SOLB is not asked to create pressure at ALL times. That's more of a WOLB deal. Wake can provide that. We will get pressure from the interior as well. Starks is an excellent pass rusher. Odrick and Langford will be stout against the run and I expect Odrick to offer some pressures here or there as well.

The biggest concern is EASILY FS in my mind. Chris Clemons is unproven. There is no arguing that. When playing last year.. He looked lost. Sure he has all the physical tools you want in a guy. But, if he can't click between the ears.. We could be in trouble. We are young and unproven at FS. There are no veterans there to provide the leadership or provide the stop gap. If you are counting on Culver to be that presence.. I think that is a heavy burden for a guy who hasn't had significant playing time in his career either.

IF.. and it's a big if.. Clemons and Jones can develop. We will be fine at both S spots. As Jones and Culver both could likely play SS. (Though I still maintain that Jones is a FS)

I'm just going to go ahead and assume the poll writer meant "NT" rather than "DT", which is how I voted.

Safety, we have a handful of wannabees but no one who has shown aptness for the job as of yet.

Charlie Anderson will be okay, but not great imho.

NT

The very core of the defense is a guy who has already failed at the position.

I can't even remember how many years in a row this has been my #1 off season concern but it's NT again.

I know The defense is supposed to be different and special and thus not needed a NT but I don't really see that working at all.
