Texas, OKU, OK St., Texas Tech going to Pac 10
WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW. HUGE. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/news/story?id=5276668Ggippo, looks like your SEC might not be the dominant conference in college football anymore. Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, OK St., USC, Oregon, UCLA, Oregon St., Cal, Washington, Arizona and Stanford in the same conference?!? Just Wow.

Don't think it matters, Alabama, Florida, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee, Ole Miss, and Auburn still trump USC, Oregon, Texas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State. SEC could be expanding and they would be picking from Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, Virginia Tech, Clemson, West Virginia, Texas AM, and maybe Missouri.

Like whats the difference between playing in the Pac 10 or the SEC or the Big 12 or wahtever The difference is money and revenue sharing. Every school has a TV market. The bigger the TV market the bigger the advertising revenue. The bigger the game the bigger advertising revenue. The more schools in a conference the more markets are covered. What the Pac 10 will do is split up into two divisions. They will expect two BCS bids for each division winner. The 12 team conferences have big money conference championship games. The Big 10 can now have a conference championship game and will hold off adding four more teams till they see what Notre Dame does. IMO there will be five 16 team conferences with 10 division winners being seeded into 5 BCS games and then a plus one national championship. Could look something like this USC / Texas Oregon / Oklahoma Oregon St / Oklahoma St Stanford / Arizona Cal / Arizona St. UCLA / Colorado Washington / Texas AM Wash St / Texas Tech Iowa / Ohio St Wisconsin / Michigan Nebraska / Notre Dame Purdue / Penn St Illinois / Michigan St Minnesota / Rutgers Indiana / Syracuse Northwestern / Boston College Florida / Alabama Georgia / LSU Tennessee / Misssissippi Florida St / West Virginia Georgia Tech / Arkansas Kentucky / Auburn South Carolina / Missouri Vanderbilt / Misssissippi St Clemson / Virginia Tech Cincinnati / Miami Pittsburgh / North Carolina Wake Forest / Uconn NC State / USF Maryland / Virginia Louisville / Duke Memphis / UCF Kansas / Boise St TCU / BYU Kansas St / Utah Houston / Nevada Air Force / Wyoming Iowa St / San Diego St Baylor / Colorado St New Mexico / UNLV
