Williams, Bell, Polite and Taylor win 2009 Team Awards
Quote:
Strong safety Yeremiah Bell, fullback Lousaka Polite and running back Ricky Williams carried home the impressive hardware for the Don Shula Leadership Award, Nat Moore Community Service Award and Dan Marino Most Valuable Player Award at tonight’s FinsWeekend Kickoff Pairings Party and Team Awards Ceremony Presented by Sun Life Financial.

Bell was a co-winner along with outside linebacker Jason Taylor.

I think they made a mistake. YB was the SOLE winner of the Don Shula leadership award.

Once he's done wearing puke green I'd be willing to let him receiver his award.

I hate that JT signed with the Jets. But honestly any one of us would have gone with the better deal if we were comparing more than one offer of employment.
Back with the Dancing with the Stars fiasco I was behind the stance of the orginazation , however this time around it looks like JT just made a better business decision for himself while (I guess) feeling slighted by the Dolphins offer. The guy clearly wants a Hollywood career after football & seeing the Jets are the team on the HBO series this year maybe that also factored into his decision.
But honestly about all the bashing .... the guy still does alot for the local community & when his career is over & he signs a 1 day deal with the Dolphins & maybe goes into the ring of honor ... he will say things like ... "Its good to be back home" .... "Its good to be surrounded by friends" ... etc.
And as fair weathered as Dolphin fans are all will be forgiven.

I hate the place JT is now.
But, I have never dissed on him.
As for forgiving? I have and can't wait for him to retire as a Dolphin.
