Thanks in part to an influx of underclassmen, the 2014 receiver class is one of the best in recent memory. With as many as nine first-round-worthy options and plenty of depth after them, teams will be able to wait on taking the top-end talents until the mid-rounds, and instead opt for other positions early on.

Sammy Watkins is the prize of the class and won’t leave the top ten pick overall. After him, there are plenty of options for teams to shore up their receiving corps throughout the early rounds of the 2014 draft.

... the Eagles love this year’s class of draft-eligible wide receivers. Roseman said he thinks there will be good receivers available from the top of the first round to the bottom of the seventh and everywhere between.

“No question,” Roseman said. “It’s the best group at any position in the draft, in our opinion. . . . When you look at the draft and just look at the position groups, I think it’d be hard to argue that it’s not the best position group.”

I don't see Miami selecting a WR inside of the 1st three rounds this May. I'm hoping we go with Zack Martin and Carlos Hyde with our 1st two. I haven't really studied this draft class deep yet, waiting for all the results to come in but I'm sure we can get some depth at OL past round 3 as well.

Yet, it'll probably be another year we don't draft legit talent at that position. Gonna go to war with two guys coming off knee surgery and one who has piss poor chemistry with Tanny.

That doesn't sound worse than going into the season with two receivers coming off knee surgery, a receiver that doesn't have chemistry than Tanny, a receiver that has no NFL experience and a turnstyle at right tackle.

:haha

Not drafting talent is costing Ross a lot of money in free agency.

I think Moncrief can be better than almost any receiver in this draft.

Moncrief is going to be a guy to watch. He reminds me a lot of Alshon Jeffrey coming out of college. He's a big physical outside receiver that can win jump ball situations in the redzone. There is always room for a guy like that on the roster. With Hartline and Gibson being on the mend, I'd love to see Miami invest a 2nd or 3rd round pick on a guy like Moncrief.
