I no longer care about Mock Drafts.

The real draft is crazy and is never what you expect.

I'm not a huge fan of mock drafts either.

Neither is Phins Rock. He only spends days "evaluating" prospects from YouTube "tape" and drums up multiple mock drafts every year so that he can have them shredded apart come draft day.

But I agree. Mock drafts are about as pointless as it gets.

There is no way anybody could have saw some of the moves made. Mocks are fun and I look at them for entertainment purposes. We all like seeing them.

For the record eleaf, and I've said this before, I don't base my opinions or evaluations of guys off of youtube. If I haven't seen them play, I stay away from them and don't let youtube highlights sway me.

Its like people who read the fortunes in their fortune cookies. You know its a waist of time, but it's still entertaining.

...and the players themselves turn out to be just as big a guess as where they're taken. Many turn out to be average or worse. Very few end up as starters and fewer become stars. I like the fact they traded 1 pick for 3.

If I'm not mistaken it was a three for two and a player. We just moved into the second round

Exactly. Everytime I read a mock I know it's likely wrong, but I still do it. I need a football fix in the offseason. Usually they can hit on the top 5, and the rest is up in the air.
