Is a year of draft and FA going to fix this or is the problem deeper? Does anyone feel confident that the coaching staff even has a clue? Is RT got the killer instinct needed to be considered the guy? Or, are we over reacting to a loss to a team that came in and just laid one on Miami...kind of the same thing that happened to the Colts.

No all of the above option?

I think the problem starts with coaching and just trickles down from there.

The only loss that wasn't avoidable was the Saints game. Every other game had moments to put the opponent away. The coaches don't seem to position the team to win and for whatever reason certain guys just aren't executing when needed.

Says to pick 3 and then limits you to 2.

I voted everything blow it up and OL.

I really hate this merry go round of coaches. coordinators, new playbooks, schemes etc. but this system is not working. This team has no heart. They commit stupid penalties, slip and fall down on the field more than any team I have ever seen, are out of position, over pursue, use poor tackling technique, poor blocking technique, poor effort, commit mental mistakes, are very predictable, poor play-calling etc.

Most (if not all) of these problems go back to coaching, player selection and organizational -wide lack of confidence. They play to not lose. They do not play to win.

Doesn't the option to blow it up pretty much sum it up by itself without picking two more??

Time to blow it up. Send Ireland and most of the staff packing. Time to start planning on which players to keep and which ones you might trade to stock up for the draft. It is time for a fire sale.

I am not convinced Ireland did such a bad job as there IS very good talent on this team. The coaching schemes bother me more and the way people are utilized and this carries over from last year not using Reggie Bush properly.

I voted blow it up. We don't have time for this patty cake brand of football as fans.

Bring in a Head Coach that is fiery & outspoken and that bring instant credibility to the table.

Irelands got to go -even before the martin/incognito mess the OL was not very good and that line is his creation ,he bet martin could play LT and it didn't work,,,,wouldn't pull the trigger on the albert deal but traded up a second rounder on a rookie that doesn't play,,,the line backers got younger and cheaper but not better. drafted cb early that have yet to see the field.

Philbins got to go - because he lets the inmates run the asylum,,, coordinators and players, play on the field is his responsibility

coordinators show very little innovation and seem to be very predictable to opposing team, IMHO Shermans over the hill and stubborn,,,,Coyles not getting the best out of what should be a better defense, very slow to change in game strategy

like everyone i had high hopes that this regime was gonna turn it around,,unfortunately its time to try it again.

Randy - I remember when it was rumored that Ross was a potential buyer long before anyone thought the team was for sale. I'm finding trouble blaming him. He's opened his wallet, improved the venue, and he's tried his best to stay out of the way and let his coach run the team. He tried to bring in Harbaugh. He tried to bring in Manning. Those guys chose another team. I would suspect Ireland's heavy involvement in personnel decisions is the ultimate reason but Ross?

Which players should be gone after this season? Which players would you start or give a shot at the starting job next season?

Obviously some guys are immovable due to contract - Wallace, Hartline, Wheeler, Ellerbe, Jones, Wake, Misi.

Then there are some key free agents - Grimes, Starks, Soliai, Patterson (I think), Keller (if he can even play), Clemons.

Obviously you can discuss others.

Right now....I'd keep as many as want to stay. I'd probably try and draft a stud MLB like Alonso for Buffalo. Coaching right now is a huge question mark.

I would like an owner option as well.

The way I see it, a vote for Ireland is a vote for Ross, because Ross is the guy keeping Ireland around, instead of finding someone else.
