w-o-w is all I have to say. Of course, if this is Incognito's pop then there is a bias behind this post, too.

As Salguero tweeted, Incognito knows where the bones are buried. He doesn't seem like he's going down quietly.

NFLPA IS NOT TOUCHING THIS WITH A TEN FOOT POLE. It will come out, Martin has tried to kill himself three previous times. The team is silent because they all know about it, from Ross on down to Ireland and Philbin. If anybody has seen the latest news the NFLPA has decided not to look into the case. Jonathan Martin has had mental issues since College, it will all come out int he wash gentleman, believe me.

Quote:
This is a joke, suspend an honest player for a drug addict and a player that tried to kill himself three times. Complete ****in utter BS and this team is just covering their butt. What a friggin joke. Strange only coments are from Zuckerman and not Martin himself. Irleand and Philbin should be ashamed of themselves, this is a ****in joke. Suspend a pro bowl player for a player that does not even belong in the NFL. FUKIN JOKE its all going to come out in the wash and Ireland should be ****in hung because he , philbin and everyone else knew Martin did drugs and attempted suicide three times. But hey, the regular people will never hear that right ? ****IN JOKE FOLKS, ****IN JOKE.

Incognito will look good in a Jets uniform beating the piss out of our defensive line in a few weeks. Watch, learn , and we will have ? Jonahtan Martin, draft bust, drug addict and on suicide watch, what a team. LMFAO.

User "TheWalrus" decided to go back and look at idrd1994's post history, and found something interesting. idrd1994 "only talks about the offensive line, praises Jeff Darlington (who Richie 'trusted' to write the big feature on Richie) and constantly refers to Jason Smith, the legendary #2 overall draft pick bust of the Rams, who was taken when Incognito was there."
Then, more sleuthwork. TheWalrus found another post of idrd1994's where he talks about growing up in New Jersey and watching the Jets play at Shea Stadium. Richie Incognito was born in New Jersey, but after the Jets had already moved. Not too young to have seen the Jets play in Queens? Richie Incognito Sr., an active poster (under a different name) on Nebraska message boards when Richie Jr. played for the Huskers.
A Google search for "idrd1994" turns up a number of posts on RC car message boards, from a user claiming to live in Arizona—where the Incognitos moved when Richie Jr. was 11. "idrd1994" is also a profile on MyLife.com, registered under one Richie Incognito, age 63, from Glendale, Ariz.

Well, when you need frickin flash cards for post game speeches to the team and you're not aware that your QB is always saying GO GO on running plays, you're a pretty dettached dude.

You could see how detached he was on hard knocks... guy has NO personality when it comes to dealing with the team.

Guess I was just kind of hoping it was because they were on camera...

All I know is the better have some damm proof...

much of what martin is bitching about was from when he was a rookie...

seems to be a bit wacky to wait a year.. then dump everything on 1 guy..

much is more to this then we will ever know...

But the Media will side with the poor bullied guy.. every time..

not saying that it does not sound like some things didn't go a bit far.....

and for Gods sake if they KNEW the guy tried to off himself 3 times.. maybe they could have hazed someone else....

1 thing I know.. our owner and coach don't like this Kind of crap.... I expect they will fire anyone they can to get the spot lights turned down a bit...

I just hope they have proof.... and they are not taking the word of 1 player over another...

they are thinking Damage Control right now... pretty sure the rest of the season just took a back seat.....

Man I am starting not to like football...

They have text messages and voice mails Incognito sent to Martin.

These are postings on a message board from Richie Incognito's dad. Not exactly an unbiased source of information.

What a circus this has turned into. All of this has occurred on Philbins watch.

Remember on Hard Knocks how Richie Incognito was "hazing" Michael Egnew? Didn't he supposedly log into Egnew's facebook or twitter and put something embarassing about him? Then later on he was being an butt to him on the locker room as Egnew checked his profile.

I mean, that in itself is not a big deal, but you could tell Egnew didn't like it but didn't say anything.

Then later on in the season, an unnamed player came out and ripped Egnew, saying the guy had no toughness and was a waste of a roster spot.

Gee, who do think that unnamed player was?

This is Richie Incognito in a nutshell.

Suicide attempts? Jesus Christ....

I don't care what Joe Philbin, Jeff Ireland, etc. could have done, if anything. The entire organization, top to bottom, needs to be blown up. For the good of the team, you have to blow it up.

Are players going to want to play for Miami, with the perception that the organization let's this stuff happen inside its doors?

This is hilarious, make a long story short, a FinHeaven member by the username of "TheWalrus" saw a bizzare rant last night that defended Incognito. The poster stated how Richie got suspended, and no one knew. Story broke of his suspension a half hour after he posted. TheWalrus dug of his info, and found out it was Richie's dad...LOL read these links, it's gold:

http://deadspin.com/is-richie-incognito ... socialflow

You guys may see Schefter talking about this on Twitter, Adam Beasley has already discussed it.

Fail. Lol. My bad guys, for some reason I missed it posted on the forums.

What does he mean by "Drug Addict"?

I truly wonder how addicted these players become to Pain Killers?

It happens to every day people with minor chronic pains, imagine professional athletes going through the yearly grind to stay employed.

This is all goes back to what I said freaking years ago. The Dolphins organization lacks any sense of a winning or professional attitude. We've been asking for years for new ownership and management. The new coaches that swing in and out of the doors is not fixing the lack of professionalism or desire to win.

I always thought that's it's too tempting for most players to come to Miami and not want to party with all the Brazilian butt and drugs if we have such a lack of leadership.

Either move the dolphins to Alaska, or start over with new management from the top down.

This is explains why we suck.

Seems like Incognito's dad hit the nail on the head with his assessment based on some of the drug related text messages coming out. Including about Pouncey...

Yep, I would agree. It sounds to me that drug testing in the NFL is a farce.

Wow. I mean WOW.

If this is true Martin's credibility is gone.

I will say though, if the implication is that Philbin is really suffering mentally and dabbling in drugs himself to deal with the pain of losing a son then I feel bad for the guy. I question Ross even more if he knew about all of this and is keeping Philbin around.

I did not read it the same way you did. I thought he was daring Philbin to test the team.

This is why I felt we should have fired Philbin. Somethings not right here, i would have released Martin during the false allegations part.

Anyone else read some of the texts floating around?

Quote:
On August 31, 2013, Incognito is trying to coax Martin to go out with him and two women when Martin writes, “My friend Mary Jane has me glued to the couch.” Incognito writes back, “F***** stoner. Take a shower and get ur a** down here. These bit**** are ready.”
Martin responds, “I’m staying in man. My liver can’t take anymore abuse.” Incognito texts back, “Me too,” before texting back about 90 minutes later, “Broooooo Ur missing out.”

Later in September 2013, the duo are exchanging messages again with Incognito texting Martin asking, “R u alive?” Martin responded, “Haha yeah. That was fun.” Incognito wrote back, “Hell yea Did u go to pouncey’s after? I’ll kill u if u did.”
Martin wrote back in two straight messages, “Lol hell no. No drugs for me rest of season.” Incognito texted back, “Goooood That s*** is ridiculous.”

Yeah, I see what you mean and thought the same after I read it again. The only thing is that the implication was that Philbin already knew of the drug problem so why dare him to test to confirm it? Then again, consider the author so who knows.

Yeah Dave, I was thinking the same thing. If it is his father that wrote all that, he certainly doesn't come across with a good attitude and although I completely understand he feels his son was wronged, but his white trash approach to his comments is what stands out to me.

Incognito as crass as he is, seems like the scapegoat in this whole fiasco and whoever wrote the comment in our forum that he basically knows of all the bones on the Dolphins organization, it wouldn't surprise me if Martin used drugs. A bit alarming to chuck Pouncy's name into the mix too. IF it is true, what is wrong with athletes today? Playing sports and doing drugs.....I just shake my head.

Yes if he knows about the drug problem and has done little or nothing about it or has one himself as you suggest both are problematic.

If it comes out that Martin has had a history of drug problems and has attempted to take his own life while in college, then our scouting department and general manager need to be fired.

Oh wait, that has already happened.

While I don't believe this for a second. The fact that our organization has already let go some pretty significant pieces of the front office makes me wonder if there is some credibility to this.
