FYI. Now Miami does not have any other WR left on their PS.

Quote:

The Browns signed a wide receiver off a practice squad Tuesday, taking it on good faith that he has two intact ACLs.

The team announced they had signed wideout Brian Tyms from the Dolphins practice squad. To make room for him on the roster, they waived wide receiver Tori Gurley.

Tyms, originally an undrafted rookie from Florida A&M, went to camp with the 49ers last year, but spent 2012 and the first seven weeks of this season with the Dolphins.

The Browns ended up with damaged goods when they signed Charles Johnson off the Packers practice squad, only to find out he had a torn ACL.

They actually do. They acquired some guy from the Jets PS a few days ago after they lost McNutt.

You can sign a Flag football WR to replace Tyms if needed.

I guess I'm a little late on learning that Jeff Fuller is no longer on the PS then? Lol.

I hate that we're losing our practice squad receivers, but isn't it nice for a change that other teams are interested in the receivers that we're developing? Our receiving corps is moving in the right direction.

I didn't like that McNutt got signed away, but not with Tyms.

The kid Ryan Spadola is said to be like another Brian Hartline talent. Runs good routes, smart & catches the ball. He was a huge fan favorite with the Jet followers sort of like 7-Eleven was for the fins last year.

Outside of Wallace, Hartline and Gibson. Matthews has seen little action probably because they concentrate on their starting 3 and Clay that mostly get involved in the passing game.

kudos to the front office.....fyi losing a ps player does not mean bad management in most cases, certainly not this one.

and you can see the plan was laid out early on with the bess trade..they just didn't want 5 wr's and they wanted a young talentat the 4th spot
