Sorry Dave, the protection was there on that throw, that's all RT.

He had protection on the 2nd pick too!!! -1 ratio now. Sorry guys, the protection excuse is getting old. Both picks he had plenty of time, he seems to do better with protection. He has more INTs than TDS.

Both interceptions are on Tannehill right now... you can't throw those balls!

Stop forcing the god darn ball and look somebody off for once!

it's early, for sure, but his TD/INT ratio is now even. The announcers mentioned that RT has improved in every category except his picks. Mark my words, if he doesn't stop throwing picks and start throwing TDs, we will be looking in '15 for a QB if not '14. No sugar coating here. He had protection and time, no excuses.

Its the offense. I predicted that Buffalo would be sitting on the short routes. You can't just stubbornly throw against a defense sitting on short routes, expecting short passes. Doesn't work, never has, never will. This is all on Sherman and his stupidity.

BUT RT still throws the ball, he needs to audible or throw it away. Sexton is right, the defenses are catching on.

the rookie practice squad guy on buffalo is suppose to be throwing the pick 6's. Not Ryan.

Our 3rd down Defense just sucks.

Offense or not, Tanny still needs to look people off.

I do think that a bad coordinater can ruin a young QB.

He needs to throw multiple TD passes today or put the backs in goal line situations 3-4 times.

Turnovers are terrible and that was his worst pick of the year.

How he bounces back will tell us if he's more Henne or more Pennington

it does seem like defenses know how to defend a Mike Sherman offense. I'm ready to dump that guy.

I agree, Mak. We'll be drafting another QB because Tannehill will be injured and shell-shocked by then. Protection is poor.

I admit, he turned it on, but the picks were too much to overcome, we had our chances. OC should be feeling hot right now, dumb as play calling.

Protection was fine on those 2 picks.

How about that final drive. He eludes the rush and Hartline breaks free and he overthrows him. Way to be clutch, for your opponents.

WIDE OPEN!!! He's waaay too inconsistent as of right now. HE is going through growing pains, but the turnovers are killing us.

He had a chance to be great ..... and of course it was horribly overthrown.

.....and he overthrew Hartline.....that was not Wallace. It was Hartline. Slow, but reliable Hartline.

Accumulative effect? Give credit to the DB. He jumped the route. Other was a bad pass, but all QBs throw bad passes.

Tannehill has not been good at all throwing deep. He excels at throwing those out routes and back shoulder sideline throws. That is why the coaching staff didn't call one of those plays on the final drive.....stupid is as stupid does.

If you discount the fact he had two WRs breaking free on post patterns when he threw it, I guess you could say good play by the DB :pumpiron:

Sure, but fire it to Wallace and let up on hartline. He's the QB, he should know the difference.

zero accuracy or touch on deep balls, and he has a cannon arm too. Only we could have this problem. Please lift the curse football gods!!!!

Yeap, its time for this. Miami brings in a raw inexperienced college Qb & no one expects him to have grown pains. Go figure.

Pretty much every deep ball I've seen from him has lacked that arc and the ability to drop it in.

Why is it so taboo to ever blame the QB around here Junkie? I'm lost, they were both horrible throws. The DB made the play, but it was like playing catch in my back yard. I saw how sorry Henne was and it was never his fault. the OL couldn't protect (LOL), the WRs drop the ball (Marshall has been fine in Chi, while Henne is same ol same in Jax). RT is showing signs of not being the guy. Hartline was WIDE open, Big Ben has made a career of throwing deep on a busted play, RT doesn't. He needs to be consistant, he throws the ball.

Tannehill has all the physical tools to get it done. He is not making good decisions. The coaches are not doing him any favors either.

Still too early. He can go etiher way, but he deserves criticism. His deep ball sucks.

Buffalo got it done with a hobbled practice squad player, 2 crippled running backs and a cornerback with an arm cast. I am not ready to give up on Tannehill yet, but he is certainly not shining right now.
