I think injuries on our defense has created holes in other positions such as FB and WR. If Thigpen is considered a WR, let's see him more on offense.

Between 2008 and 2010, fullback Lousaka Polite gained 41 first downs on 43 attempts on third and fourth down and one yard to go.
In 2012, fullback Jorvorskie Lane had two touchdowns and five first downs in 13 rushing attempts.
This season, the Dolphins are 3 of 8 on third-and-1. In the opening series against Baltimore, Lamar Miller couldn’t get a half-yard (or less) on second or third down and had to punt. The previous game’s opening series against New Orleans, Daniel Thomas couldn’t get a third-and-one and settled for a field goal.
Is it the line’s fault? Yep.
Do some questions go to offensive coordinator Mike Sherman? Yep.
But the first thing to see is they don’t have any running back capable of getting the tough yard when that’s demanded. No fullback like Polite. Not even a Lane. This is the first place I’d look in this bye week. Is there a tough-guy fullback out there? Someone you can smash into the line rather than run mini-sweeps when a tough yard is demanded?
I understand why the fullback has been phased out of the game. But this season shows the Dolphins still have a place for one considering they don't have a tough-running guy to handle those duties.
