7-77. Davone Bess ended up with 5-47. Charles Clay with 5-54. As I have said about Gibson, very solid wide receiver.

He was key in the 2nd touchdown drive.

Gibson and Hartline look like 2 of the best waiver pickups in my fantasy league. LOL

Over came a rough start and made some big catches. I think he'll lead the team in receptions this season.

Those drops are going to be frustrating this season though.

Gibson and Clay need to own that intermediate part of the field all year. Anybody see Egnew today?

I had Miller & Wallace. A great 2.5 points between them.

No. I don't remember seeing him.

Gibson helped us forget Bess today. Overall, he made some very nice valuable drive helping catches.

You're not serious. I think Bess made me wish he was still a Dolphin Today with his sideline tough catch and YAC. Gibson didn't catch anything I couldn't today and dropped a big play early that killed a drive.

Last time I checked the box score, Bess had 5 catches for 46 yards and Gibson 7 for 77.

Now I ask you, which do you prefer? Gibson got open a lot today. Dropped one yes, but was still a vital part of the offense. Bess can have his 46 yards all day long.

Yeah I did check the box before making the post. Taking all things into account, I'd still rather have Bess. He doesn't usually have that drive killing drop. Gibson had 1 in the 3rd week of the preaseason and another today.

Overall, IMO, Gibson is an improvement over Bess and it will continue to show this season and eventually Junkie, you will come to like him!!! :ann0y: :ann0y:

he's just a bigger target with a larger catch radius for the quarterback. Bess plays small and short.

Gibson played better than I expected him too and am glad of it. I am not sure that one game proves his is better than Bess but I do think he will produce more TD's and that will be an improvement, when it happens.

If Gibson wants to impress me, he'll have to quit dropping easy passes on 3rd down.
