It sucked losing his talent when we did but man did Ireland knock this one out of the park.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Brandon Marshall is "upset the Bears have not taken his concerns about his hip injury seriously."
Oh boy. Marshall's third hip operation was believed to be water under the bridge until he spoke about it unprompted on Tuesday, saying "I’m not where I want to be right now," and "it's a little frustrating." Marshall went on to say "some people might think I need to be farther on than where I am, so it’s a little frustrating not being where I want to be right now and maybe being pushed a little bit." Not coincidentally, Marshall was given a four-day leave from the team on Wednesday for "personal reasons." Coach Marc Trestman insists the absence was planned since the beginning of camp, but that's beginning to sound far-fetched. What this all means is far from clear, but it's definitely clear the volatile Marshall isn't happy right now. We'll still file this more under "mole hill" than "mountain."
