Really? Because someone once told me that if you're photographed wearing the cap of a team other than the one you play for, you can get fined.

I wouldn't want to see Tannehill in a 49ers hat.

I have a feeling Kaepernick will be hearing from the 49'ers front office on his choice of attire. There is a lot of money to be made on sales & licensing royalties from NFL merchandise.

Thank You 10.....It may bother 49er fans that he is sporting a Dolphin cap, but we all have teams we follow.

Thanks for showing the love Colin.

It's just not a good idea to wear another teams logo, or to have your pants falling off. Just because a rich kid in a BMW has his pants half off, doesn't mean it's not stupid.

I agree with not caring what others think, but following a silly trend because others are doing it is the exact opposite of not caring what others think.

I wouldn't want to see Tannehill in a 49ers hat. Why would you want to wear another teams logo? Does Bill Gates use a MacBook?

Good post. I'm sure the CEO of Chevy would wear a Ford hat. It's just dumb. If Tanny did it, this board would be pissed off. Since he's wearing a Fins hat, he's stylish and has the "freedom" to wear what he wants.....what a joke. No matter what, it's dumb and he's just being an a$$.

Coach Harbaugh might disagree:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/07/06/colin-kaepernicks-dolphins-hat-recalls-an-old-jim-harbaugh-spat/

In 2000, when Harbaugh played for the Chargers, he got angry at Jim Trotter, then a San Diego Union-Tribune reporter, for showing up at Chargers practice wearing a 49ers sweatshirt. Harbaugh said it was “pathetic” that Trotter would wear such a shirt, and he refused to answer any of Trotter’s questions.

“I don’t talk to anybody in a San Francisco 49ers shirt,” Harbaugh told Trotter. “How could you wear that out here? . . . Seriously, man. How could you wear that out here to a Chargers facility?”

Trotter responded that he’s not an employee of the Chargers, and Harbaugh said he wouldn’t talk to Trotter as long as he was wearing 49ers gear.

“I don’t answer any questions from anybody wearing the enemy’s jersey,” Harbaugh said.

Harbaugh may have something to say to Kaepernick about wearing the enemy’s hat.

Actually the way this all went down was like this. The hats of all the NFL teams were laid out on a table & they asked Kaepernick to give his honest opinion on who he thought was the best team in the league , who he thought the team was with the best QB , who he was betting on to win the super bowl & who he just thought was the best all around classiest franchise with the best staff , roster , owner , GM , etc. They just told him if you dont say the name but put on that teams hat you will be safe from fines , scrutiny , etc. Naturally he picked the Dolphins. I mean who wouldnt?
This is all according to Rotoworld & we know they are always correct.

Bingo. This Budweiser delivery driver was photographed at a nightclub with a Miller Lite in his hand. The photo was posted in the life section of the Chicago Sun Times. The next day, he was fired from his job.

Huge difference here. Kaepernick will not get fired from the 49ers. He may be told to stop doing that or at worst a small fine, but this is made into a bigger deal that it should. The guy can do what he wants, but I agree on the poor judgement opinions.

I'm with you, Mak. I think it's a bad decision on his part. The team looks up to him for leadership and he's wearing another team's colors and pissing off the fans. I'm sure he'll be singing a different tune after Harbaugh meets with him.

I don't care about the hat as much as I'm glad that our potential face of our franchise doesn't look like the poster child for the Tatoo industry.

Or the show underwear gang. Isn't he a little old for that? He looks an a-hole with his pants pulled down. He looks like he's tough, but he sounds like a whimp.

Sounds like the 00's are calling. I know every generation has their own style, but I've yet to figure out why someone would want to walk around not being able to actually walk. Seen lately where two pair of pants/short are being worn to counter the no underwear laws being passed.

I wish someone would catch a photograph of Vonta Leach in a Dolphins hat.
