Post Hartline: We want Miami fans, not NY fans at our stadium
Quote:
by Andrew Abramson

...

In the past there have been some New York teams that at times have had some pretty good representation at our stadium, especially in the lower seating,” said Hartline on a teleconference with fans on Tuesday. “We definitely want to get that fixed. We want to get more of our Dolphins fans, hear more of the roars on our plays that are successful.” ...

But Hartline and his teammates know winning will ultimately bring out the fans. And they believe the team has improved in the offseason.

Spitler even threw out the “S” word, saying “hopefully we’ve formed a team capable of going out there and getting into the playoffs and winning a Super Bowl.” ...

- Hartline said people did not notice how much quarterback Ryan Tannehill improved last year.

“He’s making every throw, his deep ball looks awesome, and he’s got great touch — you don’t feel like it’s a rocket coming into your hands,” Hartline said. ...

LOL . yeah being on the field was great. to bad it was against Tennessee & what we saw at field level was not the greatest but the teams walk of shame back into the locker room was priceless.
I am sure you remember , Anthony.

Before the game, not during. Meet and greet with some players etc. I'll be in section 133 during the game. Have some awesome family members associated with Miami.

Funny thing is I am always there, even when it appears the team did not show up, I sit there, in pain, and watch it all unfold...

Help us help you

I have been fortunate to have been on the field pregame in Miami as well, but comparing it to when I get on the field in Houston, like Miami's stands, it is fairly disappointing that they create these far away side boundaries when you do stand on the sideline before the game. I realize they need to keep some distance for security purposes, but just like I think the stands are way too far away, they do the same to the fans too for the field passes.

Now that being said sometimes when you come out of the tunnel area you can time in right to get to catch the players up close, but Houston you are right there with the players and I was able to get tons of pregame pictures with the Dolphin players when they came last time.

Just my opinion, but perhaps others have been luckier, but bottom line is field passes are better than no field passes!

Amen to that. My father was out there last year for one of the games and has some good shots. Better than shots for 400 level that's for sure lol.
